April Anarchy Flexi LMP Enduro Rules

Postby AptosC6 » Wed Feb 16, 2011 10:30 pm

Announcing the 2011 April Anarchy Flexi LMP Enduro
@ Eddie’s Slot Car World in Vallejo.

This is a road race on the Motherlode Flat Track and will last approximately 4 hours depending on the number of entries. There will be 2 classes, amateur and pro. The race organizers will determine which group each team is delegated into dependent on experience level, past performance, etc.

Car entries will be associated through a team. Each team will consist of 2 drivers which will rotate in and out as driver and mechanic/corner marshal. While the driver is active the other team member will be required to act as corner marshal. During breaks (between heats) the previous driver will be responsible for car maintenance and sticker change while the new driver shifts/changes their controllers and/or rotates in and out. The car can be maintained and/or repaired during the break, between heats and at anytime during the race. The corner marshal may not work on their car during an active period (except minor adjustments as the results of wrecks such as braid adjustments).
The race will start with a running start in which the controller will be hooked up and car placed on track after the clock has been started.
Each heat will last TBD minutes. The team (within each class) with the most laps at the end of 8 heats wins.
Cars will utilize any 4 inch flexi chassis (such as the Champion TurboFlex, JK Cheetah 7, 11, 2n chassis, Parma 5, etc.).
Bodies will be any brand LMP body (0.007 minimum thickness, HD bodies are NOT allowed).
Almost any sealed motor will be accepted, though ProSlot Euro and Speed FX sealed motors will NOT be allowed.

2011 Flexi LMP enduro race start at 1PM on April 10th, 2011.
Entry fee is $15 per person.
There will be official tech of the cars for these races and any obvious breaches of the spirit of competition will result in exclusion from the race until issues are resolved. Tech inspection will commence approximate 30 minutes before.

OK Guys, just checking to see if you are ready to rock? Anyone care to share some pictures of their cars?
PS: I tested a JK Hawk motor last weekend on the Motherlode. I think it's going to be fast.......
