Results of the “NO DURL ENDURO”
Chris Chakires wins the "No Durl Enduro” at Eddie’s Slot Car World.
Tom Joseph takes 2nd place followed closely by Sam Rock in 3rd place.
Uncle Gary, Randy Tragni and Gary Klobas take the remaining points paying positions.
The “No Durl Enduro” was held on October 9th, 2011 at 2PM on the King Track. 4 inch Flexi’s with 16D motors were run with ALM GT2 bodies producing some very nice looking cars. Each heat was 10 minutes for a total of 80 minutes of excitement for each participant. Racing was generally clean but accidents did happen and cars were bent.
Chris, driving a Panoz bodied car, took an easy win over the pack with a total of 914 laps. Chris also took fastest lap on the blue lane with 4.730 seconds.
In second place was Tom Joseph with 859 laps. Tom drove his Saleen to a fast lap of 7.839 seconds on red.
Just half a lap back from Tom was 3rd place Sam Rock. Sam, also running a Saleen almost got Tom at the end. He ran a fast lap of 4.988 seconds on black.
