Race Number 1
The first race in the 2010 FCR Challenge was held on January 10th and is now in the history books Winning round one was well known area racer Sam Rock followed by the South Bay’s very own Randy Tragni. Next were Gary Klovas and ex Top Dog Uncle Gary. Attendance was a little low but the competition was still fierce and determined with the lead being exchanged regularly during the early stages. Later on Sam pulled away from the group as the others sorted themselves through various pile ups and excursions into the walls.

Sam Rock finished first with 225 laps and a fast time of 5.936 seconds on orange picking up the lead to the championship and 10 points.
Randy finished second with 216 laps and a fast time of 6.038 on yellow and was awarded 6 points.
Gary Klovas came in third with 211 laps and achieved the fastest lap of the day at a smokin’ 2.769 on yellow! Third was awards 4 points plus an extra point for overall fastest lap of the race thereby earning a total of 5 points.
