Bandit Ultra

Postby Noda » Thu May 21, 2009 7:14 pm

Hey gang :!:

This is the last in the series of 1/24 scale Bandit design continuum's. With three original variations, a Two-Winger version and the final version 8-) For your enjoyment :) Not sure if this is in the right posting area :?:
In this version, the idea was to make it fit on a standard width chassis,( flexi.D-3) and retaining the central theme of the bandit design. Also, hopefully make it a little more aerodynamic

Will clean it up before painting and I'll show you that too.

The design isn't finalized yet, some evening will be needed. Chassis is a in-line set-up.

Thanks for looking :!:

Smokie just stabbed me in the eyes/back with his Norcal stiletto... :o I'm blind and can't see my way out the door

It's a cruel, cruel world we live in Gunda Din, people don't like you because what you wear, ragged/torn/scruffy looking thingies  it's so humiliating to be left out in the cold :(

Fear not, Brother Noda. Brother Smokie has no axe or dremel to grind with you, I'm sure. His question is perfectly in line with our"mission statement", increasing community among Northen California slot racers. Smokie is right. Nobody actually races Thingees around here, at least on any regular basis. So why distract us?

Thingees have a small but fiercely dedicated group of fans around the world, and I know for a fact there are a few racers in Northern California who like, build and are interested in Thingees, and who may or may not be trying to drum up support for racing them, either here in NorCali or elsewhere. To that end, if someone wants to start a thread or threads about them, its fine with me. If there is enough response, the viability of the thread will be obvious. If not, nobody is going to be a dead horse, no matter how streamlined and cool said horse might be.

With enough response, i'll start a separate Thingee section. Until then, as long as the posts are in general subject sections, and not in particular raceway or organization areas, they have my blessing.
