FCR Truck Racing

Postby AptosC6 » Wed Nov 02, 2011 8:21 am

Anyone out there interested in a FCR Truck race using the National FCR Series Rules? I built a car a couple weeks ago and tested this last weekend. Pretty good handling (by FCR standards) and will be a ton o' fun to race.
The format is pretty much a stock FCR chassis with sealed Deathstar motor. 840 minimum rears and 810 minimum fronts. Throw in 1/16th rear clearance and you're almost there. More info and rules can be found here at the National website: http://www.fcrseries.com/

I'm thinking about an exhibition race sometime in November or December at Eddie's in Vallejo. Let me know if there are any interested parties?

I'm in. These are pretty much what is already run in your FCR series, right? Except for the truck body.

Durl,
Yupp. Just spring for a body and some velcro and you're in. Total investment maybe $8.
I was surprised at how quickly my lap times and feeling came on for the truck. Maybe I'm just getting better at setting up flying pigs.

FCR Truck Racing on Sunday

Postby AptosC6 » Fri Nov 25, 2011 8:45 am

FCR Truck race at Eddie's this Sunday, Nov 27th. I'm thinking we'll start around 2PM.
This is an open event to anyone interested. If you don't have an FCR Truck bring any 4 or 4-1/2 inch flexi-truck and put a sealed deathstar in it. We will do JK Hawks on the Motherlode as well.
Hope to see you there.
