This is the first of the "Big Four" Summer races -- The Vallejo Grand Prix is June 12th -- and last year Chris Chakires swept all of them. You're not gonna let him do that again are ya?

I am there on the 29th. I have'nt been around but showed up last Thursday Nascar after overcoming Norcal/et al burn-out. FUN! That special combo of casual-crazy can only be found at Edwards.

So Eddie is saying it is 16-D or less, by which he means you can run Falcon or Hawk. He told me to run a Hawk and I'm not going to just because he said so. Calling all who have been absent-racers and all who wanna crack-wise with the Edward on race day the 29th of May. I dusted off my Champion F-1 chassis last night and got it ready for a test drive tomorrow

So Eddie thinks a Hawk will beat a 16D but you're going to run a 16D? OK, that makes perfect sense... : )
I am, most unfortunately, not going to be able to make this race but if I were I would run a Hawk (or maybe a Hawk 7). Lighter weight, lower CG, etc., more nimble around the Motherlode and easier on tires.

Ah, perhaps you're right Skipper. I like that type of motor myself but I'm starting to prefer the JK Hawk7 (the one that looks a lot like a Falcon). I ran one in April Anarchy and it was flawless. Unfortunately, my times started to drop as the track started down the slippery slope.
I'm rooting for you and Tom being I can't be there to compete against you guys.
